“The Chalees Satoon, East India” (CL No 155) dated 1850. This print has a gold edging to the mount and a domed top. It is larger than it’s square topped equivalent CL No 154. It is signed in the picture bottom right (see photographs) and an equivalent was used on jar 83 (see Ball’s reference to Pot Lids). It is a picture of the Emperor Akbar’s Palace on the Junna side of the Fort of Allahabad where it meets the Ganges. It is a lovely picture with great detail and is well coloured and clear.
