The portrait shows a spray of violets beneath. It is a 6* rating in the Sprake Darby reference. This silk is within an unlettered mount. It was produced from 1887 to 1900. A very pretty silk and a beautiful portrait of this popular lady. Within a reeded period frame which sets it off very well indeed.
