This is an example of a mahogany potlid frame turned to fit a given potlid size. The profile remains quite simple so as not to detract from the detail on the potlid. In the additional pictures you will see that the profile is spoon with a plain decoration and the potlid would be secured with corks to allow easy reversal of the fitting process. Hangings of choice would be added (not shown). Please call or use the contact form to ask questions associated with this service. Should you order then I will contact you to discuss sizes, hanging and fitting options. The selected wood may be pod mahogany, a more sustainable hardwood from Africa which is good for turning and exhibits the same characteristics as mahogany.
