“The Queen & the Heroes of India” by George Baxter (CL No 143) dated 1857. The ten portraits depict personalities associated with India, and were designed to be cut up and placed on needleboxes. The individuals are annotated. It was produced from the same (altered) plate as CL 141 and 142. Please note that this item is now unframed.
